Do you love the Missoni label so much that you would travel halfway around the world, to the tropics, to snap up a piece of their first luxury residence project in the Philippine capital of Manila?

The 52-story condominium tower, with a project cost totaling $315 million, is being developed in partnership with Century Properties, a local real estate company that is also currently working on a Versace-branded tower and a Paris Hilton-designed beach club.
Acqua Livingstone will feature 645 units ranging from about 300 square feet to 1,500 square feet with one to three bedrooms and a private collection of special spaces called Acqua Privé including Townhouse, Sky Garden, Private Garden, and Penthouse units.
There definitely is a market, but we’re not sure if the location would be as enticing to foreigners as it is to the small group of ultra-rich locals, who are obviously already living in the over-populated city. Perhaps the affordable price range would appeal to wary foreigners – units are available from about AED 272,000 (or $71,000) for a cramped, 25-square-metre 1-bedroom flat.
